Phoenix is an engineering firm that provides a wide range of services to clients such as the Australian Department of Defense, AGL, BOC, and more.
Phoenix already had relationships with some of the biggest names across several industrial sectors, but they wanted more. Key to developing those high-level relationships was direct contact with key individuals, phone calls with them, and then meetings. Tailored Social was tasked with engaging those key individuals.
Given the business-to-business nature of Phoenix’s offering, and objectives, identifying the most effective channel to identify and engage key individuals was simple: LinkedIn. We then created a strategy that A/B tested various 1:1 approaches until the best formula was found to get those calls and meetings that Phoenix wanted.
Over a 10-month period, we achieved Phoenix’s objectives so well that the CEO called us and said they were “too busy to continue” and had to switch the campaign off temporarily. Perhaps we did our job too well! However, since then, Phoenix has launched a second business and we’re happy to say we’re servicing it over four separate channels, from social to pay per click.
